Hello, allow me to introduce myself.
(I promise not to talk like someone else wrote this. (-: )(You know how some folks write their "About Me" page, as if someone else wrote it. LOL!) (It's just me, a real person) (Why am I whispering?, and talking in parenthesis...)
My name is Chris Brouillette (pronounced Brew-yet). I have lived here in South Louisiana since birth. I have been a resident of Lafayette for most of those years. I've been married to my beautiful wife for over 20 years and we have 3 wonderful sons. I'm just a regular guy that loves to produce great photographs. My goal in photography is to listen to what you want, deliver classic and timeless photographs, and capture moments that you will treasure for a lifetime. With well over 200 weddings under my belt, another thing that I bring to the table is...experience. Most of you have never been married and you don't know what to do or expect. That's ok. I will help you through this process and make it as smooth and seamless as possible. I've done everything from just "being a fly on the wall" to directing the entire wedding day and everything in between. I take pride in my work and feel that God has blessed me with a talent and passion for photography. I build a relationship with my customers in order to put you at ease with me and the camera. I want your personality to shine in your photos. Drop me an email with questions or comments. I can't wait to talk to you about your photography needs.
I started Brewyet Photography LLC in 2006 after years of learning / reading / schooling / practicing photography. I wanted to make sure that I knew what I was doing before starting a business. Photography is my second full time job. My other employment is with a "little" :-) company called PHI, Inc. here in Lafayette (We are one of the largest helicopter transportation company's in the world). I am a communications / electronics technician supervisor and have been there for over 20 years. I LOVE my electronics tech job, but, photography feeds my passion. (I say, My day job keeps the lights on inside my home, the photography business keeps the lights on inside of me.) I have years of experience in photography, running a business, and several hundred weddings under my belt. Feel free to browse through the thousands of photographs on the site. You can see the quality and consistency in my work. Thank you for your time. Also, check out the Frequently Asked Questions section of the website for more information.
Me in a nutshell: I give the same attention to detail for a wedding with 30 guests or 300...size/budget of a wedding mean nothing to me. No one ever said, "well, my wedding only had 50 guests, it wasn't that important of a day...". I treat them all the same. We've done weddings in the Cathedral with 500 guests as well as in someone's home with 30 guests, and everywhere in between. When you hire me, you are hiring all of me. I give it my all. I would love to get together with you to talk about your big day. Call or email me for more info. Thanks...Chris

Ever wanted to learn more about your camera? What does aperture, shutter speed, and ISO have to do with getting a great photo?
Check out this great website: http://camerasim.com/camera-simulator/
I didn't create the camera sim site, it's property of CameraSim.com. It's a great way to play with different camera settings and see what they do.
